Quick service and nice selections. My recipient was very pleased. They sent a photo and the arrangement was quite lovely; bursting with multi flowers. What was very displeasing was the delivery fee of $15 to go 2 miles? That was an extra third of the cost of the flowers. There’s an option to tip florist and tip driver. So, if you do that, you’ve almost doubled the price of your purchase. What does that delivery fee cover if a tip for the driver is separate? My hands were tied because there aren’t that many florists on the island, as far as supporting local businesses. Another nice place had a steep delivery charge too. I say lower your delivery fee, and you’ll absorb more business from your competitors. And advertise it! My career is marketing and advertising, and I know how to generate business. Dont think people aren’t looking at tag on fees. We are.

I have driven past this lovely florist many times over and finally stopped in, and wow, am I glad I did. The customer service was fantastic, and the atmosphere in there is just unbelievable with the flowers and plant and gifty items. I just ordered a flower arrangement for a friend and it was over and above what I expected. She was over the moon, it had birds of paradise, orchids, and many other lovely items in it. I live in South Florida and ordered flowers long distance from Dottie B's for my aunt who lives in Fernandina Beach. They made the most adorable little dog out of flowers. He was sitting in a basket filled to the brim with other beautiful flowers. It thrilled my aunt. They could not have been nicer to work with.

I phoned in an arrangement order from south Florida for a bouquet to commemorate my cousins father’s life. Asking that certain significant colors be included in the arrangement. My cousin was thrilled with the arrangement and sent photos. So pleased to know my request followed and the flowers/ foliage were of superior quality.

Dottie B Florist has been a favorite for years and because they are based in Fernandina Beach they are locals and that's important. They know the community members and that is a plus especially when there is a death of a community member that everyone is familiar with. I ordered flowers for a homegoing service for a local and well known community member and I had the delivery address incorrect. I called the florist and immediately the florist knew the community member and all the details for the funeral and changed the delivery information and the flowers were delivered on the day of the family viewing. For my 75th birthday, a dear friend in NH sent me a beautiful arrangement with three blue roses, two white lilies, three white carnations, one huge blue hydrangea bloom, purple statice, blue and white Delphiniums and other flowers in a blue vase. It was beautiful! Although the hydrangea faded fast being transported in the 100 degree heat, the rest of the blooms lasted over a week. Just beautiful!

DOTTIE B Floral RIPOFF! Terrible product! Terrible service! Entitled little Amelia floral RIPOFF! I ordered an expensive get well gift vase. Start to finish it was bad - No email acknowledgment. I had to call to confirm. No delivery notification. No knock or door delivery when the I'll person was at the home with help. I tipped the driver through the app and they left the flowers in the heat of the day. I sent a contact to resolve the issue and still have not gotten a reply. I will wait one more day and get a refund collection from my bank. DOTTIE B FLORAL RIPOFF!

Today, February 11, 2022, marks one year since the passing of my sister-in-law of more than 30 years. I called the local florist, Dottie B's, to see if they would be willing to leave a bouquet of tulips on my SIL's memorial bench in downtown (just a few blocks away from the shop) with a personal note letting those passing by it was okay to take a tulip to give to a loved one. They were so kind and responsive to my request and once they delivered the basket, they sent me several photos of the basket on the bench with the note. Shortly after the basket was dropped off...my SIL's brother happened to be driving by and noticed a few people stopped at the bench. He stopped to see what they were looking at and after a brief conversation, he was informed that their daughter had died 3 years ago and tears from all started to flow. They asked if they could take a tulip and he said yes...that is what I was hoping for. I am so grateful to Dottie B's for helping me and making this day more pleasant than I could have imagined.

Not sure about the business, but their delivery drivers drive like maniacs. One of their vans rode just feet away from our bumper down a 2 lane road with my 3 kids in the car and then passed us and the car in front of us over a solid line doing at least 90 in a 50mph zone. This person is going to kill someone.
